St. Louis, MO (April 29, 2010) – United States eventer Boyd Martin, who has his sights set on competing in the 2010 World Equestrian Games as part of the US Eventing Team, has joined the Arenus team of EQUILITE Ambassadors. EQUILITE brand products are produced by Arenus, makers of STEADFAST (Joint) and ASSURE (Digestive Aid) health products and topicals including the world famous SORE NO-MORE brand of liniments.
“We are very excited to have Boyd join our team,” said Arenus representative Stacey Small, creator of the EQUILITE line of products. “Boyd and his team are very knowledgeable and they have been using our products for years. We are thrilled to be partnering with Boyd as he makes his bid for the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and Arenus will be with him every step of the way.”
An Australian native who was short-listed for the Australian Olympic team, Martin moved to the United States in 2007. Martin changed his citizenship with the FEI in 2009 to ride with the United States. His career highlights include placing second and fourth overall at the 2007 Fair Hill CCI*** and winning the 2008 Bromont CCI** in Canada. Martin also won the CIC*** at Jersey Fresh and the CCI*** at Fair Hill in 2009. Martin’s most recent accomplishment is his fourth place finish at the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** this past weekend. Martin and his mount Neville Bardos had a very successful event. “Boyd placed in the top twelve with all three of his horses this weekend and we offer him our congratulations,” said Small.

News:The FEI Bureau has given it’s unanimous approval to new Stewards’ guidelines on warm-up techniques produced by the Working Group formed after the round table conference held in Lausanne, Switzerland in February. These new guidelines will be implemented on 15th May this year.
News: Eight time national Champion four in hand driver Chester Weber has an artist in his team. Rolex W, is the latest equine celebrity to paint a “Moneigh” in aid of the ReRun Charity, and his artwork will be displayed here in Lexington during the three day event that bears his name.
News: At their recent Annual Convention, the American Vaulting Association (AVA) presented Lifetime Achievement Awards, the highest award of the AVA, to Jeffrey Ashton Moore and Jan F. Garrod, whose efforts over the past 40 years have been instrumental to the recognition, growth and continued high standards of the sport of equestrian vaulting. At the same event, the Annual Trainer of the Year award was presented to Patti Skipton of Warm Beach Vaulters in Washington.

The Amanda Pirie Warrington Fund was established by Amanda’s family in her memory with the purpose of helping provide financial assistance to a developing event rider who has been identified as a rider with great talent and ability to represent the United States in the future.
The committee for the grant selects a recipient that they believe will benefit from the opportunity of continuing their training with top coaches and competing against the world’s best horse and rider combinations in three-day eventing, which is one of three Olympic equestrian disciplines. News: Michelle Robson, a 25-year-old Australian, won the Best Groom award at the new FEI Awards ceremony which took place at the General Assembly in. Copenhagen last week. Michelle has worked for Olympic event rider Shane Rose for six years, caring for his competition horses and also working with young racehorses.
