Lisa Wilcox Deems Auction a Success
West Palm Beach, FL (April 2, 2010) – Highlife Farms 2010 Diamond Select Sale, held recently at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, proved to be a successful night in which top names in the dressage community and horse world gathered to buy offspring from Highlife Farms and learn more about the outstanding horses Highlife has to offer. Legendary horseman Monty Roberts, who worked with some of the Highlife horses prior to the sale, told Highlife owner Joan Sims that he had never seen a finer group of horses.
“Monty Roberts said he had traveled the world over and never seen a horse finer than our stallion Highlife’s Dionysius,” Sims said. “He even said if it wouldn’t have caused him to get a divorce he would have bought him. He was very impressed with our breeding program and told me time and time again that we should be very proud of the quality of horses we have bred.”

Wellington, FL (March 18, 2010) – World-renowned trainer and clinician Monty Roberts is returning to West Palm Beach, Florida to host a clinic March 26th at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center. Monty Roberts is known the “Man Who Listens to Horses,” an award-winning trainer of championship horses, best-selling author, and creator of the revolutionary equine training technique, Join-Up.
Roberts has won countless awards and received worldwide press coverage. He is the author of three books on the New York Times best-seller list. He trained horses for Queen Elizabeth’s equestrian team and been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Zurich.
Wellington Classic Dressage, Inc., which hosts horse shows and events for the equestrian community, organized the Monty Roberts clinic after the famed clinician was featured at the USET Holiday Fund Raiser last December held in conjunction with the Wellington Classic Dressage Holiday Horse Show. “It is definitely a case of back by popular demand,” said Wellington Classic Dressage Sponsorship and Events Director, John Flanagan. “When Monty was here in December, people just kept coming up and asking us when we could have him back.” So Flanagan went to work to schedule the March Monty Roberts event. “He has universal appeal across the disciplines,” Flanagan stated. “Monty’s proven training methods have helped show horses, race horses, and riding horses of all disciplines.”

Wellington, FL – December 21, 2009 – The USET Foundation Holiday Fundraiser, presented by SUCCEED and Wellington Classic Dressage, was a great success as spectators had the opportunity to experience the one-of-a-kind equestrian event featuring performances, exhibitions and team competitions with Olympians and many top equestrian stars. A benefit for the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation, the fundraiser was held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL, on December 11 and 12, 2009.
Through generous donations, silent and live auctions, and ticket purchases the event raised a generous amount of money to help support the USET Foundation’s high performance programs. The USET Foundation is preparing to send teams to the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Kentucky next fall, and will help provide funding for the competition, training, coaching and travel of America’s elite horses and riders in partnership with the United States Equestrian Federation. The money raised from the holiday fundraiser will help support this country’s high performance programs.
