PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – December 12, 2011 – Daniela Stransky made her European show jumping debut at the 3rd annual Gucci Masters, which ran from December 2 to 4, 2011 in Paris, France. The 15 year old was the youngest rider at the prestigious international horse show and the only competitor representing Venezuela.

Cheered on by her mother Liliane Stransky, the founder of the international charity Step by Step Foundation (www.stepbystepfoundation.com) and owner of Stransky’s Mission Farm in Wellington, Florida, and her trainer Hector Florentino of the Dominican Republic, Daniela piloted her mare Starlight to two fault free and speedy rounds.  Just out of the ribbons, the tenacious teen vowed to return next year with her friend and fellow Venezuelan rider Emanuel Andrade (15).

The Best Riders in the World Come to Paris

RolexIJRCTop10Final-TheRidersGUCCI MASTERS, 2nd November 2009 – The world’s greatest show-jumpers will be back in Paris this year for the Gucci Masters. This “5 star” competition, organised as part of the Paris Horse Show, is an indoor season event that is not to be missed. The Gucci Masters consists of 23 trials over four days and will host the Top 10 Rolex IJRC Finals for the first time in Paris, on Friday 11th December. The Gucci “Grand Prix” will be the climax of the event on Sunday 13th December.

Twenty-five of the world’s top thirty are expected at this Parisian competition organised by the Belgian Christophe Ameeuw and the Brazilian legend Nelson Pessoa. His son Rodrigo Pessoa, the French born Olympic Champion in 2004, will serve as the Gucci Masters sports director. He will also be taking part in the event as he continues to be one of the circuit’s most successful riders. Virginie Couperie-Eiffel, the outstanding horsewoman from Bordeaux and French Champion in 2005, will serve as the ambassadress of the competition. A descendant of a family steeped in equestrian tradition, Virginie Couperie-Eiffel will be a prominent presence for all riding enthusiasts.

For four days the title-holders of the main international titles will show their skills, including the Canadian Eric Lamaze, Olympic Champion, the Belgian Jos Lansink, World Champion, the German Marcus Ehning, N° 1 worldwide and the Frenchman Kevin Staut, European Champion.
