Wellington, FL – March 17, 2011 – Internationally-renowned artist Josée Nadeau will paint world-class jumper, Pablo Barrios, live in front of an audience at The Gallery at The Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 7:15 pm.

This live painting event was to cap off Nadeau’s three-week exhibition of her Equine Series of oil paintings at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival but she was recently extended through the end of the Festival on April 3, 2011.

Nadeau is exhibiting her Equine Series of artwork, detailing everything from the ruggedness of the West to the beauty of English riding equestrian events to the majesty of polo and the speed and power of thoroughbreds. All artwork on display at The Gallery is available for purchase.

For this special event Nadeau will transform The Gallery from an exhibition space to a painting studio. Katherine Bellissimo of Equestrian Sport Productions, said, “Josée came to us with this idea and we think it’s a fantastic addition to the FTI WEF. Bringing live art to the showgrounds is a whole new concept this year, and one that we believe will be very intriguing and entertaining for all spectators.”

Wellington, FL – July 26, 2010 – Equestrian Sport Productions congratulates the winner of the 2010 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) Artist Contest, Julie Chapman, of Huson, MT. This year’s contest received a record number of entries, and the panel was delighted to review numerous pieces of outstanding artwork.

Chapman, of Huson, MT, began her artistic endeavors when she was a child, and has always been enthralled with horses. “I’ve been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil – and it was horses that I drew first and always, as I’ve had a love affair with all things equine my entire life,” Chapman noted of her passion for horses and equestrian sports.

Chapman’s beautiful use of oils and portrayal of colors eventually won the panel’s vote. These skills earned Chapman several prizes, including $500 in prize money, a complimentary 10′x10′ vendor space for two weeks during the 2011 FTI WEF, an e-blast announcing her as the winner, a featured article in the 2011 FTI WEF program guide, and a one week art show in the foyer of the International Club at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. “I’m delighted!” Chapman exclaimed of her success in the competition. Chapman will be available for consultations during the 2011 FTI WEF, exact dates to be determined.
