Wellington, FL (May 10, 2010) – In their first time together showing in the Training Jumpers, Anna-Rosa Klingenstein and Lord Lilliput captured the Training Jumper Championship at the Winter Equestrian Festival’s Spring 6 Show. The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Center in Ocala, Florida, sponsors the division, and Klingenstein and Lord Lilliput rode away with a gift certificate to the world-class therapy and rehabilitation center.

Klingenstein, who lives in Wellington, bought Lord Lilliput, a 10-year-old German Riding Pony, in January of 2008. “My goal with him is to show and be successful and go as far as we can together,” Klingenstein said. “This was our first time to show in the Training Jumpers and I was shocked that we won. I originally went to the show just to school him.”

Klingenstein, who trains with Tracey Jackson in Wellington, was thrilled with her win and appreciative of the fact that The Sanctuary sponsored the division. “I believe in proper training and care of my horses. I am excited to hear what they have at The Sanctuary,” Klingenstein said.

Brenda McDuffee, General Manager of The Sanctuary, was pleased that Klingenstein and Lord Lilliput were so successful on their first venture into the Training Jumpers. “I think Anna-Rose and her adorable German Riding Pony have a great future ahead of them,” McDuffee said. “It is also exciting to learn that Anna-Rose truly believes in the well-being of her horses. We look forward to getting to know her and treating any of her horses she brings to The Sanctuary.”

The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Center, located on 30 pristine acres, is a multi-million dollar facility dedicated to the healing, conditioning and well being of all equine athletes. “The Sanctuary features some of the most advanced conditioning and rehab equipment in the world,” McDuffee said.

The Sanctuary works hard to help riders keep their horses competing at their peak, especially when competing in physically demanding sports such as jumping. “We have the capability of helping equine athletes stay fit, avoid injury, and recover faster and more completely from certain injuries they might experience when competing in such an intense, physically demanding sport,” McDuffee said.

The Sanctuary is home to an Equine Hyperbaric Chamber with box stall type freedom of movement, as well as an Aqua Pacer Water Treadmill, the safest, most effective water treadmill available. The Sanctuary also features: a Cold Saltwater Leg Spa featuring 34 degree, highly salinated water for all types of leg therapy; an Equine Swimming Pool – a 110 foot long, 14 foot deep inline pool with therapeutic water; a 5/8 mile race track; two Eurocisers with therapeutic tracking surface – one under cover and one outdoors; Solariums; Temperature-controlled veterinary inspection area with semi-surgical lighting, and rubberized surfaces in most areas.
