• Picture: Karen O’Connor and Joan Goswell’s Irish Thoroughbred Gelding, Mandiba, put in their best test ever to move into the lead at the 2010 Rolex Kentucky CCI4*. After her test, O’Connor recognized the hard work of the volunteers by allowing the young gatekeeper to give Mandiba a congratulatory pat. The pair scored a 43.7 which pushed morning leaders, Becky Holder and Courageous Comet, into second. Phillip Dutton and The Foreman round out the top three with a 47.2. While every pair passed to the next round, Bonnie Mosser and Merloch, Boyd Martin and Rock On Rose, and Ian Roberts and Napalm were all held for re-inspection, but eventually passed.
