It’s hard to believe that we only started our association 8 months ago. We now have over 650 members in the US, Canada, England, Germany, Australia, Mexico and South Africa! As the association has grown so have the benefits we offer our members. We think they are valuable and can help you market and promote your horse industry business. So, just to refresh you on the benefits you receive as a member in the WHIA, here they are:

- FREE telephone support. If you have a question, need a contact or help in any way, you can always call the office at (615) 730-7833 and we will do what we can to assist you.
- FREE promotion in our twice a month newsletter. You send us the news and we’ll send it out to more than 8,000 members and contacts in the horse industry. Please send the news to us before the 1st and the 15th of each month. All news items should be single spaced. No caps or bold text please. Send it to whra44@yahoo.com.
- FREE member or product spotlights. Send us a couple of paragraphs about you and your horse business or your products and we’ll put it on our website and send it out in our newsletters.
- FREE jobs posting. If you are looking for a job, send your info to us. If you are looking to hire someone send us that information as well.
- FREE marketing tips. Just go to our website and click on Member’s Directory. In that directory you will see this new area. We will be adding more tips so please make sure you check back.
-FREE TV exposure with our partnership with Speaking of Horses TV on the DISH network.
- WHIA Store. If you have a product you would like to sell in our store, please contact our VP, Debby Lening. She will fill you in on the details.
- DISCOUNTS on all WHIA products and events. Our members get discounts on website advertising, special projects advertising and of course, in our annual conference directory.
- Women You Should Know in the Horse Industry Directory.
This directory will be published in late Spring and will list our members by state and category. Due to so many people just now getting their ads together, the deadline for advertising has been extended to April 15, 2010. This will be your final deadline. - 2010 Annual Conference.
Last year was our first annual conference and I cannot tell you how successful it was. In fact, it was so successful that people are already signing up and paying ahead of time for exhibit space and registrations. We expect our exhibit space to be sold out again early. We have put together some great rates at the hotels so if you are planning on attending our conference (and the WEG) you should book your room ASAP. We also offer “room sharing” so if you want to share the cost of your room with another person attending the conference, just let us know and we’ll hook you up!
We are adding new services often and we hope that you will make it a point to read our newsletters and check out our website often. We change the website almost daily so if you don’t check it, you might miss something!
