Carson City, Nevada – February 29, 2010 – To introduce the 2010 $25,000 Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby at the Franktown Meadows Equestrian Facility there is now a live website dedicated to this derby. The website URL is www.FMhunterderby.com. The website is a great place to find information about the Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby, the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation, and the Franktown Meadows Equestrian Facility. All contact information and important facts are located on this site. Designed by Steven W. Andersen, the website has an easy to use interface that features many aspects of the derby. The site will be a great place to find more information, such as press releases, the sponsorship packet, and prize lists, as preparation for the derby continues. Lynne Garnett, one of MacLean family members of the Franktown Meadows Equestrian Facility, comments, “This website was designed with everyone in mind, from the spectators, to the sponsors, to the participants. We wanted a place that everyone could visit, to learn about our facility, the charity involved, and about the history of the derby. We look forward to having this site evolve as the months approach to September 19, 2010.” For any questions about the derby please contact: The $25,000 Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby Fast Facts EVENT: The Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby will be the first standalone hunter derby on the west coast. The derby will be a member event of the Chronicle of the Horse/United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) International Hunter Derby Series presented by Dietrich Insurance. This charitable event benefits the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that aids the Northern Nevada area. WHAT: Over the course of three days, riders and spectators will enjoy a variety of exciting events that offer the highest quality judges, the best course designers, great food, multiple exhibits for all ages, and first class hospitality for two- and four-legged competitors alike.
