Linda Rubin – Your Health 321, LLC.
Linda is Vice President and co-founder of Your Health 321, LLC, offers stem cell nutrition for horses, dogs, cats and yes, humans too.  Her love for horses came at an early age, with her first word – according to her parents, being “horse”.  Growing up in the Marine Corps and moving every year or so made it difficult to have a horse of her own.  Linda’s passion was kept alive with visits to horse barns and drawing horses.  She started showing Quarter Horses at the age of 15 and was given a Bill of Sale for her first horse, Jay’s Dodger, by her Father on her 16th birthday.  Moving to Connecticut after her Father’s retirement Linda showed Jay and took reining lessons from Gail and Al Cibelli until Jay’s untimely death from a twisted intestine.  A year later she purchased Oil Play’s Miss, by Oil Play and sold her 5 months later when “Missy” exploded on a trail ride and landed Linda in intensive care with a severe concussion.  Linda gambled and later purchased her first Appaloosa out of Winona Princess by Big Britches K prior to the foal’s birth. When the time came, she was happy to see a beautiful, blanketed chestnut filly in the stall!  Miss Jubilee Britches K, Jubilee for short, went on to win many halter and pleasure classes and became a great broodmare.  Linda served as the Secretary and Newsletter Editor of the Western Massachusetts Appaloosa Association and traveled the New England Appaloosa Show Circuit. In 1978 Linda purchased Dial after Hours, a yearling stallion by Dial Me Too who had won the STAA weanling futurity in New York.  Dial was trained by Linda and her friend Karen Thorne, winning year end awards in halter and pleasure classes.  Linda turned her attention to racing and Dial’s new career was off to a great start at the age of 7.  Linda and another friend, Thoroughbred trainer Dorothy Lowe, trained Dial for racing, using the sand pit, plowed corn fields and mountains to build stamina, endurance and strength.  What a surprise to see a chunky halter horse turn into a sleek, mean running machine!  Dial retired from racing sound and healthy, coming in second in his first race and breaking the track record at the Northampton Fairgrounds in 1984 running a time of 32.1 seconds for the 3 Furlong Exhibition Race. As Secretary and Newsletter Editor of the New England Appaloosa Racing Association and later President, Linda secured Appaloosa Exhibition races at Suffolk Downs, Rockingham Park and Northampton Fairgrounds.  Lung surgery in 1988 forced Linda to sell her horses and move to Florida. Linda is a licensed Cosmetologist, Realtor, commercial artist and has written articles for horse magazines along with several technical manuals for the largest underwriter in Florida.  She has taught attorneys and paralegals how to do title searches and real estate closings, and was promoted to Manager of their Paralegal Certification and Placement Program, writing the course book and final exam and teaching the class in various colleges throughout the state.  Linda left to take on new opportunities in the real estate field and became interested in stem cell nutrition due to her lung condition and her German Shepherd’s hip problems.  Linda has been a riding instructor for Harmony Farms, Horses for the Handicapped for 10 years and enjoys seeing her student’s progress and have fun riding horses. You can find Linda under HEALTH in our member directory.
