JustWorld Fundraiser to be a Latin Fiesta of Fun!

justworldJanuary 12, 2010 – Wellington, Florida – Hot, hot, hot!  The JustWorld International Annual Fundraising Dinner, featuring the theme ‘Latin Fiesta under the Stars’, will be the most sizzling event on the Wellington, Florida, social calendar.

A sell-out event since its inception, the annual JustWorld Fundraising Dinner held Friday, January 22, 2010, at Belle Herbe Farm in Grand Prix Village.  The biggest names in the sport of show jumping will gather together to raise money for JustWorld project sites in Brazil, Cambodia, Guatemala, Honduras, and Senegal.  In the past six years, the event has raised more than $2.2 million to provide basic needs for impoverished children.  JustWorld International is a not-for-profit, humanitarian organization working as a catalyst for positive change in the developing world by helping underprivileged children.

This year’s fiesta theme reflects JustWorld’s recent expansion into Latin America and will feature food and music celebrating Latin culture.  Whole Foods has generously sponsored the food for the event, Chef Chris Paul from Wild Orchid Café is serving up an array of Latin delicacies, and Delray Wine Cellars will provide beverages.  An auction will feature unique and sought-after items, including a one-week stay at a beach house in Costa Rica, a private clinic with nine-time Olympian Ian Millar, and a package of five training sessions on Belle Herbe Farm’s grass grand prix field.
