Upcoming Cowboy Christmas

The US Equine Rescue League (USERL) is planning a Cowboy Christmas event to be held Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Wild West Town at Southern Breezes, 4126 Medlin Road, Monroe, NC 28112. There will be horse drawn wagon rides, an opportunity to meet some of the rescue horses, a petting zoo, and plenty of shopping for the cowboys and cowgirls on your Christmas list. The USERL will be selling hot chocolate, hot mulled cider and baked goods to keep everyone warm.

The proceeds from this event will benefit horses rescued from abuse and neglect in the Central Piedmont Region of North Carolina. The USERL is also looking for volunteers to help that day and for vendors to sell their wares.
