Foreign Animal and Emerging Diseases Course
The Center for Agriculture and Food Security and Preparedness will host a week-long training course on Foreign Animal and Emerging Diseases (FAED) August 3-7, 2009. FAED trainings have been held in Knoxville both in 2005 and 2007. This event is jointly sponsored with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and includes speakers with international expertise on foreign animal and emerging diseases as well as researchers from Plum Island Animal Disease Center.
