Where have I been lately? I've been entrenched in doing Web 2.0, social networking & creating customized Wordpress blog setups. My new blog, AHorseBlog.com has been customized to look like my website (other URL Horsesinthesouth.com/blog), but I have 2 other domain names pointed to the blog - AHorseBlog.com & MyEquusBlog.com. I am even blogging on my gardening experiences, my horses, Metro & his injured leg, press releases, events & articles that need to be in the spotlight so they won't get lost in our thousands of articles.
I've also created another client hosted Wordpress blog, LavSage.com so she has her website pages, plus the link to her blog where she can update, add new posts, add new pages, categories, upload pictures & more - all by herself. This is the way it should be - let the client have access to their own website so they can make the changes & add new content whenever they want without waiting on the webmaster.
What is so great about having your own hosted Wordpress blog is that it will always be there, lots of books are written on how to use it, tons of 'plugins' to enhance your blog are available, most for free. Huge companies have converted their websites to using Wordpress as a Content Management System (CMS), e.g., CNN, The New York Times, Martha Stewart, Robert Dover & many more.
