Teri, Jerry and Group Wish Everyone a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year in 2008

We want to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year in 2008 and Best Wishes for Peace and Joy! Thank you to everyone who has been a loyal follower of Horses in the South and to those who are new to our site. We are growing by leaps and bounds - we are amazed how many new views we are getting each month! We boasted that we had 200,000 views in September, then when we released our new design as a CMS, we now are getting 450,000+ views a month!

We don't know if our views and visits have increased so much because of our new design or because of our customized Content Management System that we implemented in September 2007 that allows us to very easily add articles into multiple categories and upload pictures to go with them or because the word has gotten out about our site. Whatever the case may be, we thank you for your participation!

In the near future, we will be 'opening' this feature up to anyone who wants to write and publish their own articles as a Featured Contributor to our sites, too, so watch for that announcement. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter/mailing list so that you will be notified of this!

We also add Resource Guide articles so that they are associated with our new automated (Premium) Directory Listings. These articles can be Press Releases that you send us about your business or about a new product that can be listed next to your Premium Directory listing.

If you haven't taken advantage of this new feature, be sure that you do for the new year! At only $75 a year, you get your own Premium listing where you can change your text and your photo out as many times as you wnat throughout the year.

And, all Premium Directory listings are displayed next to the business Resource Guide articles so everyone will see it.  This gives you a 'double-entry' on our website.  (I'll even go into the 'admin' section sometimes when I see a new Premium listing and add it to multiple categories so your listing will be 'all over the place'!)

Our next update to the site will be in adding the Events by zip code or state, and facility or location so that you have a more extended search capability for the events.

Don't forget to look at our Partner sites, SouthernHunterJumper.com and SouthernDressage.com, as we are updating them, too.  Currently we are adding events to correspond with the discipline-related sites, plus news that is specific to these sites. We also are trying to keep up with the local North and North Central Florida events and news on NorthFloridaHorse.com. These sites haven't been added to our CMS yet, so this is a manual process for us, so bear with us if some things get somewhat outdated.  We may do a 'frenzied' update to them every so often to bring them current!

Since these Partner sites are smaller sites and are in the growing state, we are offering advertising on them at a huge discount as compared to the advertising on HorsesintheSouth.com. Like were talking only $30 per month for a business card type/size ad and $65 a month for the standard banner display!  What a deal and a great place to start!  We'll even give you another 20% discount if you include your ad on all 3 Partner sites! If you have your ad on HorsesintheSouth.com, we'll GIVE YOU A FREE BANNER display on any of the Partner sites!

We really want to assist the smaller equine businesses get a head start, so be sure to take us up on this great offer. By the way, NorthFloridaHorse.com is 'buried' in the search engines as it was actually the beginning of HorsesintheSouth.com, so even it gets a whole lot of views!

You may personnally contact me at ceo@horsesinthesouth.com for more information.

Thanks again everyone!
